Susan leaves behind her beloved husband of 33 years, Robert Staton and her daughter Kathleen (Staton) Munoz Ventura, Son-in-law, Everth Munoz Ventura, stepdaughters Francine Staton and Rhonda Summers, her mother Ellie Martin, her brother George Goodspeed and extended family.
She enjoyed her retirement to the fullest, spending her time with friends and having adventures kayaking and traveling.
A memorial service and inurnment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. The family will provide details closer to the date of the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to any charity of your choice in her honor.
