Allen Ross

November 15, 1933 – October 25, 2017

Allen passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital at the age of 83. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Thelma of 60 years; daughters Peggy (Gary) Phillips and Diane (Ted) Loehndorf; grandchildren Heather (Dan) Aspel, Erin (Cameron) Fehr, Brent (Joely) Loehndorf, Kevin (Angela) Loehndorf, Cory (Ashley) Loehndorf; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Dora (Jack) Chalut; and brothers Harvey (Mary) Ross and Gordon (Zelda) Ross. He was predeceased by his parents David and Kate Ross; brothers Morris (Blanche) Ross, Wallace Ross, John (Shirley) Ross; and sisters Olive (Joe) Beaudreau and Mable (John) Shmyr. For over 20 years Allen worked for Toronto Dominion Bank as a manager in various locations in Saskatchewan. In 1971 they moved to Calgary where he worked as an accountant with a Trucking Company until retiring in 1992. They moved back to Saskatoon in 1996. Allen enjoyed watching curling, the Toronto Blue Jays and spending time in the garden. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal University Hospital Foundation – Intensive Care Unit (103 Hospital Drive, Saskatoon, SK  S7N 0W8). A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor Street) in Saskatoon.
