Andrew was born to Martin and Amelia Tumback on the family homestead near Septre, SK, the ninth of eleven children, on January 26, 1922. In 1942 he moved with his parents to a farm east of Eston, working with his father, and eventually taking over the farm. In July of 1955 he married Audrey Turn, and thus began a life of unexpected, and endless surprises, resulting in 7 children. Life on the farm presented many challenges, but working together taught the children endless examples of a good work ethic and sharing. In 1981, Tiny and Audrey moved into Eston where Audrey bought a flowershop, and Tiny was known around town as the delivery boy, sharing a smile and twinkle in the eye with all he met. In 2000 they retired, and Tiny indulged his passion for fishing, and visiting family. During the past 4 years he faced the challenge of health issues with dignity and cheerfulness, thankful to be able to share time with family and friends. His special joy was spending time with his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He leaves to mourn his wife of 60 years, Audrey; children Kathy (Richard) Leuschen of Humboldt; Father Kevin of Lethbridge; Michael (Susan) of Calgary; Deb (Perry) Penley of Landis; Beth (Gerry) Steiert of Bangkok; Fr. David of Saskatoon; Colleen (Darryl) Finch of Langley; and his sister Rose Hopkins (Ian) of Yuma; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Parish – Window Fund (Box 39, Eston, SK S0L 1A0). The Vigil for Tiny will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29th and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 30th, both services will be held at Sacred Heart Parish, Eston, SK.
