Mom was born in the Prud’homme area. She was predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Michalena Kieltyka, siblings Micky Price, brother Edwin Kieltyka, sister Albina Polgar, sister Rose Gabriel and brother Zenon Kieltyka.
She is survived by her children, daughter Sharon Dinter and son Brian Dinter, who miss her and love her very much. She is also survived by her children’s dad Leonard Dinter, sister in-law Carmen Dinter, brother in-law Julius Dinter, and several nieces and nephews.
Despite facing many challenges in her life, mom always tried to remain positive and never gave up. She was a woman of faith and this kept her going.
Mom was naturally gifted and very talented. She was advanced for her age and as a young child she expressed her creativity by drawing and painting many pictures depicting various scenes. She continued her creative pursuits as she got older and enjoyed cooking, reading, embroidery, quilting and gardening.
Mom loved to travel to Calgary to visit her son and see the mountains.
She had participated for many years singing in the chapel choir at St. Ann’s Senior’s Residence and was a long time parishioner at Holy Spirit Parish. She also attended many weekend Live In Retreats at local schools, which she loved to go to.
Mom lived at Ilarion Residence for over seven years and made many friendships there. For several years she planted beautiful flowers outside the building and she also had a plot in the local community garden where she planted vegetables and flowers.
We, her children are so proud of everything she accomplished in her life and her memory continues to inspire us. You will forever be in our hearts mom.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Holy Spirit Parish (114 Kingsmere Place, Saskatoon).
In lieu of flowers donations in her honour to Chalice or the Catholic Christian Outreach would be very much appreciated.
Arrangements entrusted to Mandi Wasylkowski.
