ELLSWORTH, Arlie Jane (nee Anderson). It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who passed away with family by her side at the University Hospital on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the age of 89. Loving wife of Ronald Ellsworth, mother of Sandy Germain, Keith Ellsworth (Elana), and Mark Ellsworth (Beth). Cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Ron and Arlie shared 68 wonderful years and enjoyed a full and active life with much travelling as members of the Good Sam Club of Saskatchewan. Arlie’s pride and joy was being on the team that won the Canadian Senior Women’s Curling Championship in Kenora, Ontario in 1989. Arlie was an avid crocheter and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are proud recipients of many afghans made with love.
Ron and Arlie spent the last nine years living in Luther Tower in Saskatoon where they enjoyed the company of many friends.
As per her wish, no services will be held. Arrangements are in care of Derryl Hildebrandt.
