

Brian Larry Lang, age 49, of 117 Avenue E South, Saskatoon, SK passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born October 11, 1965 in Regina, SK to the late Brian Larry McAuley and Kathleen Branson (Lang). Larry took his education in Carnduff, SK and was a Junior Hockey goalie for the Red Devils. He was also a Cadet in Bow Valley, Oxbow Command. Larry began boxing while he was in school and traveled to numerous places including Fairview, MT; Minot, ND, Duck Lake, SK, and the Nationals, which were held in Quebec. Larry began a career in security with Ghost Security and Investigations Inc in Swift Current, SK. He was also employed by the Lighthouse, and Impact Security in Saskatoon. At the time of his passing Larry was working as a Security Guard with Flaman Security in Saskatoon, SK. In addition to his mother, Larry is survived by Kathy Lang's common-law spouse, Robert Glas; a brother, Robert Lang and his wife, Leigh, of Alberta; and many extended relatives and friends. Larry was predeceased by his father, Brian McAuley; his adoptive father Alvin Lang; his grandfather Frank Branson; uncle Albert Branson; and several other aunts, uncles, and grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Windsor Chapel, 704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon.
