

Christina Katherine Frehlich received into the arms of Jesus Oct.18, 2025 at age of 97. Born Oct 11, 1928 to parents Stanley and Theresa Hoffart. She grew up and attended school in Tramping Lake SK. She married Peter June 4, 1947 and together they raised seven children.
In 1959 moved to Kerrobert and together built and operated the Wild Goose Motel. Later in 1964 moved back to Tramping Lake where Peter and his brother Joe took control of family business started by their father Nelson in 1945 operated as Frehlich’s Garage. The family moved to Saskatoon in 1970.
Mom is survived by children: Ron (Elaine) Frehlich, Bernice Kopp, Carolyn (Ron Lesko) Schwab, Deborah (Lynn) Kurach, Melinda (Dean) McLeod, Stacie Christensen (James Sajim); son-in-law Wayne Scraba; her sister Alvina Ottenbreit; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband Peter, daughter Cynthia Scraba, her parents Stanley and Theresa Hoffart, her brothers Peter, Leo, Edward and Raymond and sister Theresa Frehlich, son in law Gary Kopp, Grandson Justin McLeod.
The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care she received while living at St. Angela Merici Care Home and the last eight months at Stensrud Lodge.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at St Patrick’s Parish (3339 Centennial Drive, Saskatoon) with Fr. David Tumback Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Ryan Lensen.
