It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Corny Patkau on Sunday, October 30, 2022. After being on the family farm west of Hanley, SK in 1930, Corny eventually took over the farm with his brother. After marriage, Corny left the Hanley area to begin a new family and farm south of Clavet, SK. After four decades of farming, Corny retired to Saskatoon to live his remaining years.
Corny leaves to mourn his wife of fifty-seven years Hilda, his son Glenn (Jackie Regier), his two brothers Henry (Mary) and Erwin (Helen), a brother-in-law Delmar (June), as well as many friends and relatives. Corny was predeceased by his daughter Janet, his parents and his four sisters Tina, Frieda, Esther and Alice.
A Celebration of Corny’s Life will take place at Nutana Park Mennonite Church (1701 Ruth Street, Saskatoon) at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
