March 13, 1934 to February 24, 2014
Earle slipped quietly away in the early morning on February 24, 2014 at his home in Samaritan Place, Saskatoon. After eight months of pain and loss he is now rejoicing in song as he walks the streets of heaven. We cannot be sad but will gravely miss the husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and great uncle that we have loved. Loving him still are his devoted wife, Doris, children Leonard Jellison, Shelley (David) Clark, Wendal (Sandra) Jellison, and Corinne (Kevin) Cornell, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Seven siblings and five in-laws with their families will also miss him here on earth. He was predeceased by his father, Elward Wesley Jellison I, mother Elizabeth Meshen Jellison, and daughter Patti-Janine Jellison, three brothers in law and one sister in law. Earle was a pastor, a teacher, a carpenter, a hunter, a fisherman, and an avid sports fan, traveling many hours to watch his children’s and grandchildren’s games. Their television was pretty much always tuned to their favorite sports events. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Kinsmen Telemiracle, who do so many good works and also provided to him equipment to help him maintain dignity and mobility when his ALS had taken away the use of his limbs. His life will be celebrated at his funeral at 1:00 p.m. SK time on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Onion Lake Full Gospel Church, S0M 2E0. Arrangements in the care of Cheryl Carlson - Mourning Glory Funeral Services, Saskatoon. (306) 978-5200.
