Ed Martin

It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of our dear husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend. "Ed" Martin was born on July 10, 1930, and peacefully passed away on July 23rd, 2015, at the age of 85. Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of over 59 years, June Martin, and their children: Cal (Debra) Martin and Judy (Calvin) Nordlee. Ed poured his heart and soul into everything and it was evident in everything he did. He and June ran a successful grain farm for over 40 years in the Kenaston area. A helping hand to a neighbour in need was always ready to lend. Ed was a loving husband, wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Please join us to celebrate Ed's life on Wednesday, July 29th, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Rock of Ages Lutheran Brethren Church (130 Kingsmere Place, Saskatoon) with Pastor Art Hundeby presiding. Memorial donations may be made to Rock of Ages or to the Alzheimer's Society. A private family interment will take place in the family plot at Kenaston Cemetery prior to the service.
