It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our cherished mother Effie Hondros, at the age of 90. Born with a heart full of love and a spirit that touched countless lives, Effie leaves behind a legacy that will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her three children, Albert, Andy, and Dora, whom she devoted her life to raising with tireless dedication and unwavering love. Her family was her world, and she took immense pride in shaping the people they have become.
Effie's life was also deeply influenced by her close relationship with her brothers, John and Peter, who held a special place in her heart. Their bond was a source of strength and comfort to her, and she cherished the memories they shared.
In her quiet moments, Effie found solace in gardening, nurturing the beauty of nature, and finding peace in its serenity. Her faith was also a cornerstone of her life, and she often found comfort in reading the Bible.
Walking was another one of her pleasures, allowing her to connect with the world around her. Effie's greatest joy was her family, and her legacy will live on through the countless memories, lessons, and values she imparted to her loved ones.
Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will continue to inspire and guide us.
Effie is survived by her sons Albert (Brenda) and Andy (Krista), and her daughter Dora Wandler (Scott), her brother John Papouches and her 5 grandchildren Chloe, Kailee, Rylan, Reid, and Ben.
Rest in peace, dear mother. Your love, kindness, and generosity will be deeply missed.
