

With her loving husband and children by her side, Evelyn’s spirit passed from this life to the next on Saturday, December 21, 2019. Evelyn was born on September 1, 1933 in Sturgis, SK to Tom and Dehlia Durham. She was the sixth of ten siblings and she cherished every one of them. Evelyn studied nursing with the Grey Nuns in Regina, SK. She was a kind and gifted nurse and her career took her from St. Paul’s Hospital to Oliver Lodge until her retirement. Evelyn is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years George, her loving children Kathy (Ken) Woytowich, Donnie, Debbie (Ray) Tetreault, Jeff (Rita), and Jennifer (Gerry) Visentini, as well as 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and very special sisters Bernice Montgomery, Venita Alberts and Cecilia Vogelsang, brother Tom (Annette) Durham, brother-in-law John Schenn (Dolores), and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by and on her way to be reunited with her infant son David, her parents and sisters and brothers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at St. Patrick’s Parish (3339 Centennial Dr.) in Saskatoon with Rev. Fr. David Tumback as Celebrant. The Rite of Committal will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Paul’s Hospital - Palliative Care Unit who provided solace and comfort at such a heartbreaking and difficult time.
