Filomena Santoro

October 2, 1929 – March 7, 2020

Filomena is now in her heavenly home; passed away peacefully at St. Ann’s Home on March 7, 2020 at the age of 90. Filomena was born on October 2, 1929 in Pietrapertosa, Italy. She is survived by her children Cathy (John) McKenna, Silvia (Lloyd) Bowell and grandchildren Carlie (Steven) Gelleta, Brett (Krista) McKenna, Scott (Jen) Bowell and Danielle Bowell. She was predeceased by her husband Rocco Santoro and siblings Domenico (Antonietta) Giannotta, Maria (Francesco) Digilio and Michele (Irene) Giannotta. Thank-you to the St. Ann’s staff for their special care of Filomena in the past 4 years. Memorial donations may be made to St. Ann’s Senior Citizen’s Village (2910 Louise St., Saskatoon, SK S7J 3L8), St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation (1702 20th St. W., Saskatoon, SK S7M 0Z9) or to a charity of your choice. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church (211 Ave. O S.) in Saskatoon with Fr. Mick Fleming, CSsR as Celebrant.
