Mom was born on a homestead north of Laventure, Saskatchewan on May 30, 1934. It was a large family and times were tough, so she developed an inner strength that defined her life. She loved to garden, shop and was an amazing cook with hundreds of cookbooks.
Mom was predeceased by two of her three children and all but one of her siblings. She is survived by her son Wayne, her daughter-in-law Pat, and their families. Her house on Ave J in Saskatoon was a place of refuge for many of us over the years. Her open arms and giving nature will be missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 21, at 10:00 a.m. at Mourning Glory – Acadia Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Drive) in Saskatoon, followed by interment at Prince Albert South Hill cemetery early in the afternoon of the same day.
