It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Gloria Ann Barilla who passed away on December 22, 2014 peacefully and gracefully with all of her family at her side. Gloria was born on April 1, 1942 in Grandview, Manitoba to the late Joseph and Mary Borys. Gloria is survived by her sister, Adeline; her loving husband, Don; her three children, Vince (Aileen), Brent (Sheila) and Kim (Cory); and her nine beautiful grandchildren, Cody, Connor, Paige, Hope, Dawson, Sydney, Avery, Haley, and Dalyn. Gloria will be remembered as a loving wife of over 50 years, a devoted mother, a special grandmother, and, to many, a precious friend who touched the heart and soul of all whom she met. She always gave and never expected anything in return. Most importantly, she will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre, 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the nursing staff at RUH (6200) for their professionalism and, above all else, their compassionate care of our dear loved one.
