He has left behind his loving wife Shelley and their son Kordel, his mom June How, brother George How, sister Wendy Vogel, his dad Dave How, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was born in Regina, SK on Sept 4, 1969 and grew up in Norquay, SK with his family, as well as a large extended family that lived in the area. He moved to Rosburn, Vermillion, Saskatoon and then Elstow, where he met Shelley (Hollman) How. They were together for 5 years, before they married in 1991. Gordon and Shelley have 1 son, Kordel How.
Gordon spent many of his years as a long haul truck driver, before his son was born. He then decided that he wanted to spend his time with his family and watch his son grow, so he got a job in Fort McMurray, AB and his family followed.
Throughout the years Gordon has met many people and has seen many places, but his favorite place was with his wife and son, as well as family gatherings. Gord was a hard worker and always went above and beyond the call of duty to make things happen and to keep everyone happy. He will be greatly missed by many. A Celebration of Gord’s Life will be held on Wednesday, July 10 at 1:00 pm at Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Dr. Saskatoon, 306-955-1600).
Donations may be made to the donor’s choice or to the Kordel How Education Fund in care of Shelley How. Arrangements are in care of Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre, www.acadiamckaguesfuneralcentre.com
