

It is with profound sadness that the family of Guy Lajeunesse of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan announce his passing at the age of 72 years. Guy was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on June 3rd, 1953 to Edgar Lajeunesse and Helene (Dumais) Lajeunesse.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Lorraine (Beaulieu); his children, Natalie (Christian Berard), Monique (Danny Feltis), Levi (Meaghan Taylor) and his 5 grandchildren, Juliette, Kyuss, Bailey, Gage, and Versailles.
Guy will be missed by his brothers and sisters, Nil (Elise), Elise (Paulin Beaulac), Jeanne (Mike Clarke), Claire (Len Lewko), Donna (Perry Goldstone) and Martin (Shirley). He also leaves behind his in-laws; Norman (Mariette), Claire Parkin, Lucelle, Rene, Andre (Doreen), Sylvia (Robert Tremblay), Richard (Dolores), and Louis (Debbie); as well as numerous family members including aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Edgar; mother, Helene; brother, Leo; mother-in-law, Eva (Dore) Beaulieu; father-in-law, Oscar Beaulieu; sister-in-law, Diane Beaulieu; brother-in-law, Conrad Beaulieu, and great-nephew, Daniel Butt.
Guy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather (pepe). He devoted most of his life to helping others. He will be remembered as selfless, thoughtful, and stoic. He was a lifelong learner who had great passion for knowledge.
Guy was a devoted volunteer in his community and church as a Knight of Columbus. He acquired diplomas in Accounting and Theology. He had a 27-year career with Revenue Canada, and most recently worked for his sons’ Masonry business doing accounting. Guy’s happy place was at Morin Lake, where he could be found surrounded by his large extended family, making ‘campfire soup’ and bringing his grandchildren for Kubota, quad, and bayou boat rides. He was often found visiting around the campfire with friends and family. The void that Guy leaves behind will be impossible to fill. His memory will live on through his loving family and all those who he has encountered throughout his lifetime.
A Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at 1:00pm on Friday, November 21st, 2025.
Memorial donations in Guy’s memory may be made through the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, and Telemiracle.
