

Hazel was predeceased by her daughter Sharla Ann Miller, her parents Manie and Lena Schilling and sister Shirley Finkbeiner.
Hazel was born in Humboldt, SK on February 2, 1942. She was an amazing person who lived life to the fullest, living in Lanigan, Los Angeles, California, Humboldt, Prince Albert, Kerrobert and finally Saskatoon.
Hazel had a very extensive career starting out in hairdressing, then went on to Federated Co-op starting out as a Switch Board Operator, and later moving up into Human Resources. Her career in Human Resources lead her to G.W.G. clothing manufacturing as Human Resource Manager where she travelled back and forth to San Francisco, when they left Saskatoon she was hired at Northern Telecom where she travelled back and forth to Toronto when they left she was hired for West Wind Aviation Human Resource position.
After retiring from Westwind she was hired by a firm out of Toronto to organize a Human Resource Department for Doepker Industries in Anahiem thereafter she was hired to set up the Human Resource Department at Harvest Meats in Yorkton and then she retired permanently.
She spent many vacations travelling to Cuba, Hawaii, Venezuela, Australia, New York City, Mexico, Europe and many cruises in the Caribbean and the Panama Chanel.
In retirement together with her husband, they spent winters in Arizona where they purchased a home and a jeep, spending six months for many years golfing and jeep adventuring in the desert.
A Celebration of Hazel's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 27, 2024 at Acadia Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon).
