It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Heather Lee McKay, age 65, on March 16, 2025. Heather was born on October 11, 1959 in Saskatoon, and was predeceased by her beloved brother Glen McKay.
Heather leaves behind her three children; Damond, Dalynn and Danae. She is also survived by her father David Mckay, her mother Larralyn McKay, her brother Ron McKay, niece Taylor Moyles and her aunt Dorothy Turgeon. Heather was also deeply devoted to her two dogs; Pippin and Araya.
Our Mother was a kind, caring and giving person, who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a very strong woman who faced every challenge in life. Mom was know for being a kind person and a huge fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, she never missed a single game.
An end of life celebration will be held to celebrate Heather's life, and details will be provided at a later date.
Heather's legacy of love, selflessness, and devotion will live on through the family, friends and the many lives she touched. Her presence will be soley missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mom, you will always be in our hearts, and we never forget you. We love you. Rest in Peace.
