Born and raised on the family farm west of Birsay, SK, Helen developed the values of hard work and compassion she endured throughout her life.
After graduating from nursing, Helen dedicated her career to caring for others at Saskatoon City Hospital, where she worked until her retirement. Her summers were often spent at the cabin at Coteau Beach, a place she enjoyed with family and friends.
Helen will be lovingly remembered by her sister Hazel Graff, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents William (Bill) and Frieda Bagshaw, her brother and sister-in-law Laverne and Eleanor Bagshaw, brother-in-law Ronald Graff and long-time friend Catherine (Kay) Henley.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their exceptional care and kindness.
