James Ross Chapple

James was first married to Diana Ethier, and together they raised three children: Cindy Mulhall (Dan), Rob Chapple (Shannon), and Charlie Chapple (Helen). Their years in Prince Albert were filled with a rich social life, strong community ties, and many cherished family memories.

Following Diana’s passing, James found love and companionship with Winnie. Together they made their home in Saskatoon, where James was warmly welcomed into Winnie’s family by Jackie Hackl (Morgan), Theresa Stadnyk (Mike), and Michael Raina. The community at St. Volodymyr became an important source of friendship, faith, and connection in his life.

James retired from Molson’s Brewery and was well known for his love of hockey, his years of coaching in Meath Park, and the many summers he treasured at Candle Lake.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and deep love for family.

James is lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 27 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Volodymyr Chapel, 3108 Louise Place, Saskatoon.
