Janet passed away suddenly at the University Hospital at the age of 51. Janet is survived by her husband Alvin; daughters Angie (Mike) and Amanda (Jeremy); step children Justin, Evan, Brianne (Ken); mother Rita; and grandchild Mackenzie. She will be missed by siblings: Carolyn, Eddie, Linda (Ron), Roy (Eileen), Wayne (Julia) and many other family and friends. Janet was predeceased by her father Harold in 1989.
Janet was a long time employee of City Hospital. She loved traveling to Florida and Mexico and always enjoyed throwing family get-togethers at her place. Janet will be remembered for incredible baking, cooking, gardening, ponds of fish and her love and devotion to her family, including her dogs and cats. Janet will be deeply missed and her memory will remain in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. from Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre.
