Jeanette Sapieha

August 17, 1935 – October 31, 2017

We the family are saddened to announce the passing of Jeanette. Left to cherish her memories are her children Phil (Valerie) Ozeroff, Sharon (Brian) Shortt, Donna Sapieha, Wes Sapieha (Sue Davidson) and James (Melanie) Sapieha, Ruby Sapieha; grandchildren Nicole (Chris) Robinson, Joline Ozeroff, Shannon Shortt (Andrew Wall), Adam (Melissa) Shortt, Jade (Steven) Tomlenovich, Robin (Tyson) Baergen, Cody Adamson, Micaela Sapieha, Dana Sapieha, Lathan Sapieha, Jamie Sapieha (Bryce Callander) and Joshua Sapieha; great-grandchildren London and Lincoln Robinson, Blakelyn Bear-Ozeroff and Carver Baergen; brother Leo (Sylvia) Kryschuk; sister Rose Lebid; sisters-in-law Mary Michayluk and Emily Lesyk; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog Cuddles. She was predeceased by her husband John Sapieha; and parents Walter and Rose Kryschuk. Together with Dad, Mom loved spending time with family and friends. Memories of the cabin and motor home will forever be with us. Their greatest joy was their grandchildren, and later in years welcoming their great-grandchildren. When dad died, mom’s heart was broken and her illnesses grew. Hand in hand they will be watching over us. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor St.) in Saskatoon.
