Joseph passed away on August 29, 2014, with his wife at his side. He is survived by his wife, Lilian; brothers, Sam and Len (Catherine); sister, Victoria; sons, Daniel and Jonathan; daughter, Chrissy (Kent Fuergutz); grandson, Ethan; nephews, Brandon and Ryan; and nieces, Jennifer, Catherine, Jacqueline and Pauline. Joe was a devoted son to his predeceased parents, and took attentive care of them as they ailed. He was a loving husband who was especially fond of writing heartfelt messages commemorating special dates; he was also a nurturing father who worked tirelessly to provide for his children. Joe worked for Saskatoon Light and Power for 27 years, and was involved in the community assisting at the Folkfest Chinese Pavilion. Joe remained hopeful and optimistic even in his final days. He will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers or cash, please make donations to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital or the Saskatoon Cancer Center.
