John Trevisan

1936 – 2016

John passed away peacefully on May 23, 2016 at Luther Special Care Home with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Catherine Trevisan, brothers Onorio (Doris), and Joseph, sisters Anne (Joe) Canzi, Inez (Ben) Canzi, Irma (Gino) Tofinetti and Ida. John is lovingly remembered by his wife Terri of 53 years, his children Mike (Leah), Dan and Nancy, five grandchildren Mark and Brad Trevisan, Donovan, Liam and Connor Flude, and numerous nieces and nephews. John was born in Fort William, Ontario where he was very active in sports. He began his career with North Star Oil until Shell Canada acquired them and continued working with Shell for the next thirty years. His job took him to Winnipeg in 1966 and then brought him to Saskatoon in 1972. The family would like to thank the staff at Luther Special Care Home for their loving care and support. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016 at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church (1902 Munroe Ave. S.) in Saskatoon, SK with a reception to follow.
