Katherine Pitre

It is with great sadness that we wish to announce the passing of Katherine Marie Annette Pitre, (nee Bassman) at the age of 69 years after a valiant fight with cancer and neurological issues. Katherine “Kathy” was born on September 7, 1951 in Khedive and passed away peacefully on December 17, 2020 at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. Katherine was predeceased by her parents, Stefan and Agnes Bassman; brothers, Steve and Ralph and sister, Francis. She is survived by her husband, of 51 years, Omer Pitre; daughter, Yvonne (Ken) Wagner; daughter, Melissa (Scott) McKay; son, Rick (Rhonda) Pitre; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister, Margaret and brother, William “Bill” as well as many other family members and friends. At this time there will be no funeral service. Cremation arrangements in care of Katherine have been taken care of by Mourning Glory Funeral Services of Saskatoon, (306-978-5200). A Celebration of Katherine’s Life will be held in the spring of 2021 at the Pangman Cemetery, Pangman, Saskatchewan.
