Kenneth Brock Chatson

Brock Chatson, a beloved, husband of Juanita passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on January 12, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on June 15, 1946, in Kimberley, British Columbia, Brock was the cherished son of Kenneth and Hazel Chatson.

Brock graduated from grade 13 in Kimberley, BC, and pursued further education at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), where he earned a Chemical Research Technology Diploma. He dedicated 45 years of his professional life to the National Research Council of Canada, serving as the manager of the Nuclear Magnetic Resonator Lab.

On December 30, 1967, Brock married Juanita Kathleen Olson in Kimberley, BC. Together, they built a loving family and shared many cherished moments.

A man of varied interests, Brock enjoyed playing golf, baseball, and softball. He also took great pleasure in gardening and exploring genealogy. His commitment to community was evident through his volunteer work with the Eastview Community Association, where he contributed to the Eastview Ear paper and assisted in cleaning the rinks.

Brock is survived by his devoted wife, Juanita, his son, Clayton, and his granddaughter, Savannah. He was predeceased by his son, Brent Kenneth Chatson, his sister Marie, brother-in-law Michael, and his parents, Kenneth and Hazel.

Brock Chatson's legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Interment will take place in Kimberley, BC at a future date.
