It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Margaret Enns (nee Bergen) of Sherbrooke Community Centre who left us on Friday July 19, 2024 after a beautiful life lived. Full of love laughter and resilience she touched the lives of all who knew her. Margaret was born on the family farm near Great Deer, Saskatchewan on June 15, 1927. She was the youngest of nine children. The family relocated to the Hague area when Mom was young and that’s where she received her education. Margaret completed a course in pattern making and design and went to work as a seamstress in Saskatoon. Quite a few years later she wrote the GED exam and received her grade 12 standing. Mom went on to teaching the Bishop Method of Sewing at community colleges through the extension division at the U of S and in later years became a very successful real estate agent employed by Montreal Trust and Royal Lepage. Mom had many hobbies that involved sewing and almost any type of needle work. As a young girl she loved playing ball and horseback riding. She met the love of her life Henry Enns and they were married on July 21, 1948 and were blessed with two children Sharon and Dale. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Henry and son Dale Enns, her brothers Pete (Margaret Reimer) Bergen, Dave (Rosella Epp) Bergen, George (Alice Zulauf) Bergen, Jake (Evelyn Epp) Bergen and sisters Mary (Bill) Wall, Tina (Peter) Jansen, Gertrude (Peter) Wall, Nettie (Ed) Klassen. Margaret is survived by her daughter Sharon (Raymond) Verbeke and grandchildren Todd (Alanna) Verbeke, Tasha (Kenton) Hunter, Meagan (Clayton) Honoroski; Great grandchildren Kaylee (Ben) Williams, Greg (Christin Parton) Verbeke, Jacey and Quinn Hunter, Aliyah, Kelcee, Munroe, Vivienne and Olivia Honoroski. Full of love, laughter and resilience she touched the lives of all who knew her. The viewing will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday July 25, 2024. To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday July 26, 2024.
