Marlene Berg

It is with deep sadness that the family of Marlene Denise Berg (nee Read) announce her death which occurred December 5, 2015.  Marlene had a flair for flower arranging, a joy of singing and a deep love of family.  Marlene was a devoted wife of 58 years to Arnie, a loving mother to Debra and a doting grandmother to Isaac and Matthew.  She was a woman of strong faith as was evident in the way she cared for others.  Marlene will not only be missed by her immediate family, which includes her brother Bob Read (Joyce) and numerous nieces and nephews but also by her church family and many friends. We wish to express our profound thanks to friends and family who are surrounding us with pray and love in our time of deep sadness and we wish also to express our thanks to those who cared for Marlene at St. Paul’s Hospital emergency; their professional and compassionate care was a gift in the midst of our grief.
