It is with deep sadness the family of Morley Shields announce his sudden passing on October 16, 2014 at his home in Saskatoon, Morley will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Helen and his son, Corey. He was born in Ridgedale, SK and was predeceased by his father, Elmer in 1987 and his mother, Gladys in 1970. Surviving siblings are his sister, Vivian (Jack) Meier of Okotoks, AB and three brothers, Dwain (Marion) of Saskatoon, Gerald (Myrt) of Asquith and Dwight (Arlene) of Saskatoon and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be missed by his Aunt Jean in Powell River, BC. Morley retired as a Captain with over 30 years of service with Saskatoon Fire Department. He will be forever remembered for his kindness and generosity to others. He enjoyed life especially outdoor activities like fishing with his good friends. At his request, Morley did not want a funeral service. At a later date, a celebration of Morley's life will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (279 - 3rd Ave North, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7K 2H8).
