Murray passed away peacefully after a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his devoted wife of 34 years Donna; mother Joan Holmlund; children Kristen (Kevin) Kindrachuk, Robyn Holmlund, Michael (Jeanie) Holmlund; and his ray of sunshine, granddaughter Parker Kindrachuk. Murray was a mechanical engineer who was known for his gentle nature and kind heart. He was a friend to all. Murray was an avid sports fan whether he was golfing with his buddies or cheering on his favorite teams: the Roughriders, Habs and Blue Jays. Most of all Murray loved his family. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the excellent care provided by Dr. Hey as well as the staff at Saskatoon Cancer Centre, St. Pauls Hospital and Palliative Home Care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kidsport Saskatoon (510 Cynthia Street, Saskatoon, SK, S7L 7K7). The Celebration of Murray’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8th at Emmanuel Baptist Church (corner of Taylor St. & Acadia Dr).
