

Norman Leslie Clark October 12, 1925 - March 7, 2012. Norman passed away peacefully at St. Pauls Hospital on March 7 2012 at the age of 86. Norman was predeceased by his wife Marion on January 18, 1992. Dad will be lovingly remembered by his sons Edward (Marilyn) and David as well as grandchildren Tim, Erin and Kevin(Ashley), sister Margaret Lambert, step brother Ron Bell, dear friend May Nasby, as well as many niece’s and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Eric and Isabella Clark and brothers John and Doug(Scotty) and sister Agnes(Bunty). Norman was born in Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands of Scotland and came to Canada with the family in 1927 settling in Saskatoon. As a boy he attended King George elementary school where he was always proud to say he played hockey with Gordie Howe. Norman was a Veteran of WW11 where he served overseas in the Navy on a minesweeper. In 1951 he started working for the City of Saskatoon as a transit bus driver, until his retirement in 1988. Norman was very close to his family, and loved to participate in family functions. He was a regular at the Thursday happy hour at the Sherbrooke Community Centre where he visited with fellow Veteran’s and friends. His pastimes include golfing, cross country skiing, biking and he was a member of the Saskatoon Skating Club. Norman was a kind hearted man, easy going with a love for life. He always had a way to put a smile on your face and he kept his humour with him to the end. Dad you were loved and we will miss you.

The Memorial Service will take place at Acadia McKague’s Funeral Centre, 915 Acadia Dr. Saskatoon, on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
