Pearl Innes-Boychuk

January 4, 1940 – November 5, 2024

Pearl Mary Innes-Boychuk, aged 84, of Saskatoon, SK, passed away peacefully on November 5,

2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 4, 1940, in Birch River, MB, she was

the eldest daughter of Howard and Mary (Tripp) Innes.

Pearl spent her early years in the Kemulch district, attending a one-room schoolhouse up to the

eighth grade. Her youth was filled with memories of local dances, pie and box socials, ball

games, and school picnics. Pearl worked in various roles throughout her life, including as a

Bowling Manager and Motel Manager, but her proudest role was as a mother. In 1976, she

moved to Yorkton, SK, and began a 20-plus-year career with Kmart, where she ultimately

worked in the Human Resources Department for 12 years, a role she found challenging and

rewarding.

In 1998, Pearl and her husband, Nelson, retired to Crystal Lake, SK, where they enjoyed

traveling extensively, with adventures taking them to Cuba, Hawaii, Alaska, the Caribbean,

Venezuela, Las Vegas, the Panama Canal, Disney, the Yukon, and Scotland, among other places.

They moved to Saskatoon, SK, in 2012.

Family and Loved Ones

Pearl is lovingly remembered by her husband, Nelson Boychuk; her children, Lonnie (Cathy

Walstrom) Williamson, Wanetta Williamson, Donovan (Bev Cey) Williamson, and Derwin

Williamson; and her grandchildren: Jeremy Cole Williamson, Laci Williamson (Josh Dick),

Brandon Williamson, Logan Mosiondz, Lindsay Mosiondz, Laird (Nicole Belanger) Williamson,

Jesse Williamson (fiancée Ella Brown), and Shane Williamson. She also leaves behind her

cherished great-grandchildren: Brielle Williamson Dick, Londyn Williamson Dick, Van

Kovatch, Vea Kovatch, Leif Williamson, and a beloved great-grandchild expected soon to Laci

Williamson and Josh Dick.

Pearl is survived by her sisters, Betty-Ann (Brunzy) Munro and Beryle (Brian) Sellner, and her

brother, Ron (Barb) Innes. Her extended family includes numerous nieces and nephews,

including Jo-Anne Innes (Eric Albertini) and children Sheena, Jeston, and Melissa; Duane

Alderson, husband of Pearl’s late niece Yvonne, and her children Karl, Christy and Derek; Barry

Munro (Lorraine) and his child Jessica Spracklin and Jessica’s children Naomi, Hailey and

Brynlee; Jordy Munro (Angie); Nicole (Trevor) Magas and children Jack, Katelynn, and Ashley;

Michelle Sellner-Armogan (Krishna) and children Konner, Milena, and Kaleb; Daren Sellner

(and partner Rachael) and children Skyla, Harlan and Cameron; Mathew Sellner; Brandee Innes

(and partner Jeremy) and children Taryn, Mikey and Jayce; and Ryan (Gerri Anne) Innes and

children Harper and Emme.

She is also remembered by her stepdaughters, Mona Boychuk and Darla Boychuk (Dennis), and

her step-grandson, Travis Aumair. Her step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren include

Cal (Michelle) Hamm and children Griffin and Corbin; Jordan (Shelby) Hamm and children

Jameson and Cooper; and Braxton (Sharla) Lawrence and children Boston, Etta, and Maggie.
