It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Rachel. This most special and loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend forever touched the lives of our family and all those who ever met her. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her mother MaryAnn; her siblings Roberta (Devon, and their daughter Beatrix), Jocie and Jere; and her father Keith (Diane).
Rachel was creative, generous, kind, fun and funny, loyal, loved all creatures big and small, loved to travel, and loved her friends and family dearly. She had the extraordinary gift of bringing people together and could light up any room that she entered. Those who were lucky enough to know her are better for it.
Rachel is loved beyond measure, missed terribly, and will live on forever in our hearts and minds. You will find her when you gaze across the deep blue ocean or look to the bluebird sky.
And as we all play parts of tomorrow—
Lord knows—
Some ways will work and other ways will play.
But I know we can't all stay here forever.
So, I wanna write my words on the face of today.
Before they paint it.
