Robin Rae Sanford

It is with great sadness that the family of Robin Rae Sanford (nee Glasgo) announce her peaceful passing at the age of 64 on Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at the Hospice at Glengarda in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Robin lived a loving life, surrounded by great family and friends. She always had a beautiful smile on her face, and you could always rely on her to be there for you. A true testament to the amazing woman she was, is her friendship with Linda Siemens as they were best of friends since the age of 8 when they met in grade 3 at St. Goretti School.

Robin was a strong, independent women that had a 15 year battle with mental illness and a 7 year battle with cancer that ended up taking her away from us.

She was born to the late Marie and Robert Glasgo, September 16th, 1959, in Calgary Alberta.

She was predeceased by her niece Marissa Guttormson

She was married to Donald Sanford in 1977 and lived in Saskatoon where they had their only child, Shaun Sanford in 1979. Robin is also survived by her grandchildren Dallin Sanford, Freya Sanford and Isla Sanford. As well as her younger brother Troy Glasgo and nephew Tyler Guttormson, her baby sister Michelle Glasgo, niece Emily (Dylan) DiMarco and great niece Sofia DiMarco.

Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday August 14, 2023 at Woodlawn Cemetery (1502 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon)
