Surviving are his wife Trudy, sons Andy and Gary (Jacquie), grandchildren Jordan Scheffler and Rhayna Martens (Nick), also nieces and nephews Linda Byl (Dennis), Debbie Claassen, and Ron Claassen (Deb), as well as cousins in Germany.
Roland was born in Berlin, Germany. He immigrated with his parents and sister in 1953. Soccer and fishing were his consuming interests until his passing.
A Graveside Gathering will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon SK, Block 83A, Lot 3, Section S1/2, Grave 58762. All who wish to support the family by joining are welcome and much appreciated.
