Roman Mathias Weisensel

Roman passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Roman and Armella farmed by Bremen until 1976 then moved to Saskatoon. Roman stayed busy with other jobs while living in Saskatoon, such as school bus driver, truck driver and picking up and delivering buses from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ontario to Saskatoon. Roman loved the outdoors, going fishing with Armella and camping with friends or going out with his boat by himself to the many reservoirs around Saskatoon. Roman was known as a character and his infectious laughter, (HE. HE, HO, HO). He loved listening to other people and their stories and adventures. This charismatic fellow liked a cigar on occasion, enjoyed a glass of wine with friends and family. He will be greatly missed but remembered forever. Roman is predeceased by his parents Louis and Veronica Weisensel, his wife Armella Weisensel (Jungwirth) and siblings Hilda, Lillian and Almer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday December 4, 2023 at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church (503 Main Street Cudworth, Saskatchewan). Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Cemetery prior to the reception. The family wishes to thank the staff of Extendicare for the kindness they showed Roman.
