

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rosemarie Volk, our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend on January 20, 2021. Rosemarie was born in Young, SK on November 14, 1938. Rosemarie touched many lives with her loving personality and unconditional acceptance of everyone. She loved family and never missed an opportunity to attend any family function, they were so special to her and brought her the greatest joy. Rosemarie’s style and grace was admired by all who knew her - “Great style at any age”. Rosemarie is survived by her beloved husband Steve, daughter Tracy (Joe), son Warren (Kim), grandchildren Jenny (Josh), Jesse (Kelly), Jodi (Shawn), Ashlea and Garrett (Jessica), great grandchildren Jack, Grady, Tyson, Isla, Gabby, Gracelyn, Reis, Olivia, Lawson, and Zander, special nieces, Tobi (Randy), and Trudy (Stormy), and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosemarie will be lovingly remembered by Steve’s family, son Dion, son Terry (Doreen) and daughter Tammy (Rene), grandchildren, Terry, Mitchell, Seth, Stephen, Josh (Kelsey), Kalyn, Jessica, Andrew, Koralyn, great grandchildren Sylvan and Ellis, sister in law Edith (Daryl) and many nieces and nephews. Rosemarie was predeceased by her father Murray, mother Lillian, step father John, first husband John Zmud, sister and best friend Edie. A special thanks to CPAS and her palliative care nurses Marilyn and Mary Ann for helping us keep Mom at home for most of her illness. Also thank you to the Palliative Care team at St. Paul’s Hospital. We love you Mom and are going to miss you more than anything.
