Mom battled cancer for over 30 years, and finally it took its toll. She was deeply indebted to Dr. Weckworth who showed compassion and was so caring of her dignity over years and years of treatments. Mom lived at Preston Park for the past three years where she was very happy, and made friends with many of the staff and residents alike, especially her good friend Al Irons. She received expert and devoted attention from Home Care, especially nurse Mary Ann. We are also deeply touched by the care Mom received in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital, especially Dr. K. Stakiw, Daphne and nurses. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Philip Neri Church in Saskatoon. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre www.acadiamckaguesfuneralcentre.com (306)955-1600.
