Saul "Sal" Reis

May 23, 1960 – January 3, 2020

Saul “Sal” passed away with his wife and family by his side on January 3, 2020. He was predeceased by his parents and nephew Clayton Reis. Saul is survived by his wife Heather Reis, daughters Venessa (Geoff) Lang, Angelina (Robbie) Stirton, Stephanie (Dave) Reis, sons Jarrett (Jodie) Reis, Joshua Reis, Nathan (Ashleigh) Reis and step children Stacey (John) Brodsky, Brynn (Mamadou) Campbell and Tyler Campbell. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, one great-grandson, his siblings Manuel Reis, Antonio Reis, Maria Santoro, Jose Reis, Silvino Reis and Diane Loewen; their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews. Sal entered the world in 1960 in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal and entered heaven from his home in the Prairies. A Liturgy of the Word for Sal will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Parish (3339 Centennial Drive, Saskatoon) at 10:30AM. Presiding will be Fr. David Tumback. Interment will take place at later time. Donations may be made to St. Pauls’ Palliative Care or Close to Home Campaign (stpaulshospital.org).
