Sending all my love to Sherri’s family and friends today. Wish I could be with you, but am with you in spirit. Sherri was an unforgettable dame with a heart of solid gold.

Your mother got her wings that day.
Your mother was a truly a class act.
Truly a bright light filled with compassionate empathy, which she communicated well. 
We were sad to see her leave the building as she was both a friend and neighbor.
We were sadder still to hear of her passing.
She was cherised by many  whom  will  fondly remembered by those whom were truly God blessed to know her.

I thank my lucky stars that I had such a fabulous and wonderful woman as my friend. Anyone who knew her would agree that she was a rare and very special person. We shared many laughs, tears, thoughts, and fears. We danced, sang, shopped, walked, and sometimes just sat together comfortably silent. I will forever remember and cherish her brilliance, fierce independence, incredible strength and resilience, her non-judgmental,  open-hearted, brutal honesty, and her brightness, both inside and out. She is absolutely unforgettable and will forever be loved and missed.

My heart and thoughts are with her loving children and family, as well as all that knew and loved her.

Nick, Ty, Tracy, Trent, and Erna, 
I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Sherri. I know just how much she meant to each and every one of you. As my former mother in law, she also meant a lot to me. I have always said she is the best mother in law anyone could ever ask for. She taught me so much and truly changed my life for the better in so many ways. I will remember her for the rest of my life. Thinking of you all during this difficult time and sending virtual hugs across provinces. Xoxo Ash

Thank you for sharing your mom, sister, and daughter with us. She will be terribly missed. 
I'll never forget the first time I (Erin) met Sherri when she interviewed for a position at AIDS Saskatoon. When asked the classic question, "If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?" Sherri quickly responded, "I'd be a wolf because they're amazing parents and have great hair." I knew then that she was someone we needed in our organization!
Sherri was a feisty, hilarious, compassionate, and supportive colleague who became part of our chosen family. Countless cups of coffee, smokes, and fried bologna breakfasts were had at her kitchen table. So many rounds of Rock Band were played, often terribly, at her place. She was always willing to lend an ear and plot how we would take down all the assholes of the world. 
The world is a dimmer, less compassionate place without her. Her legacy of influencing so many co-workers, volunteers, students, community partners, and people who access services to be better, kinder, wilder humans will live on.

Sherri was a very dear friend . We spent many hours at the kitchen table having coffee and cheese spaghetti! She was always available to lend an ear. We drifted apart over the past years,but I think of her often. She was an amazing person!  I know there will be a special place for her in heaven.

Hey Big Sis.  I wanted to thank you for all you did for me personally.  Although I frequently fail, I try my best to show tolerance and compassion for others.  I try not to be judgemental of the lives that others lead, the decisions they make, or the qualities they possess.  And whenever I succeed in doing these things, it is 100% because of you.  I watched you constantly champion causes for those that were outside the mainstream of society.  I watched you offer assistance to those that needed it.  I watched you give your last dollar even when you could have used it for yourself.  So thank you.  I can only hope that some of what you were somehow rubbed off one me.  Simply put, the world is a better place because you were in it.
