

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother Shirley Warner. Shirley passed away peacefully in the care of Luther Special Care Home on February 4th, 2025 at the age of 96. Shirley lived a long and fulfilling life, known for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family and friends.
A passionate knitter, baker, and gardener, Shirley found joy in creating beautiful things for those she loved. Her hands were never still, whether knitting gifts for family and friends, perfecting her favorite recipes, or tending to her cherished garden, and of course spoiling all of her grandchildren. Her home was always filled with the aroma of fresh-baking and the colors of vibrant flowers.
She will be greatly missed by her son Terry Warner(Glenda), daughter Patti Fafard, grandchildren Tara(Cory), Jason, Tyler, Michelle and Dallas, great-grandchildren Kayla(Luke), Kassidy(Dylan), Carson, Kiley and Axel and great-great grandchildren Layla and Kylah, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband Ed Warner(2004) mother Marjorie Sterling(1942) father John Walter Bostock(1968) sisters Helen and Marjorie, sister-in laws Lorraine and Betty, brother-in laws Ken, Chuck, Mike, Eric, and Marcel.
Shirley was born and raised in McLean, SK. and later moved to Regina, SK. where she worked at Charlie’s Printing Shop, it was in Regina where she met her future husband Ed Warner, after being set up on a blind date by her sister Helen and Marcel. Ed and Shirley moved to Saskatoon, SK in 1966 where they raised their family and celebrated 54 years of marriage together.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Luther Special Care Home (Temperance Munroe and Floor 1 neighborhoods) Pastor Iris and Dr. Arun Nayar for all of the exceptional care Shirley received.

A private memorial service for immediate family will be held at a later time as this was Shirley's wishes.
