Stanley Eagle passed away suddenly, but peacefully on Monday afternoon, February 13, 2017. Stan was predeceased by his parents William Eagle and Nora Eagle; brothers Charles Raymond, and Wallace; sisters Victoria May, Mary, and June Eileen. Stanley was the last one of this family, and we are saddened to say goodbye. Stanley spent his career life driving trucks and his most beloved job was being the school bus driver for Whitecap (formerly Moose Woods). He talked about those years fondly. Stanley spent the last 17 years in Regina living and being cared for by June, until her passing. Stanley was a quiet man who loved strumming his guitar, reading a western novel, and listening to old time country music. He is survived by his special niece Cheryl Eagle, Regina, SK, and her daughter Kirstyn Eagle; sisters-in-law Rosa Eagle and Marge Eagle; and brother-in-law Willis Royal along with numerous nieces and nephews, friends and other relatives from Whitecap. Safe Journey Uncle- well done! The Wake Service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from the Charles Redhawk Elementary School gymnasium in Whitecap Dakota First Nation, beginning at 4:00PM. The Funeral Service will be held from the same location on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 2:00PM. Arrangements entrusted to Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre (306.955.1600).
