It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Stefan Tomlinson, or "Tigger", age 25 on Saturday, February 28, 2015. Stefan was born on May 12, 1989 at Regina General Hospital to two ecstatic parents, Douglas and Faye Tomlinson. He was a happy, strong baby who never stopped bouncing; this carried on through his life. He is survived by his immediate family: younger sisters, Joelle and Natalya Tomlinson, grandparents Agnes Babak, Ronald and Olive Tomlinson, Tyrone Ashmeade, Trevor and Barbara Ashmeade. Stefan was lucky enough to have a large family; it's impossible to name them all. He was very loved. Stefan was a fierce protector, with the biggest heart. Simply put, he was a kind person. He loved hockey, football and lacrosse, and what he lacked in height he made up for in sheer strength and will. He could always be recognized by his big hair and big smile to match. Please join us in a Celebration of Stefan's Life on Saturday, March 7 at Westgate Alliance Church. The Service will be a simple one at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lighthouse Assisted living. If you have extra winter accessories such as toques, mitts or scarves, we are taking a collection to the centre downtown. We also ask that you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, friend, sibling or whoever you care about. Time waits for no one.
