Steven passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Palliative Care with his wife at his side. Steven is lovingly remembered by his wife Terri; sons Katlin (Brittany) and Clinton; sisters Vivian Falcon and Brenda (Pete); brother Clarke; mother-in-law Nora Benolkin; in-laws Karen Laurence (Greg), Skip Benolkin (Colleen), Dennis Benolkin, John Benolkin (Maureen), Darlene Benolkin, Chuck Benolkin, Sandy MacDougall (Joe), Ray Benolkin (Deanna) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Steven was predeceased by his parents Henry and Elma Turuk; his father-in-law John “Jack” Benolkin; brother-in-laws Cyril Benolkin and Bruce Falcon. Steven was born, raised and educated in Biggar, SK. For a few years he was a parts man for a few dealerships. His last few years, he loved trucking for Maxie’s Excavating. He liked fishing, hunting and enjoyed BBQ family dinner in the backyard. He loved his family and enjoyed his furry friend, Izie. A Memorial Service for Steven will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Windsor Chapel (704 Windsor Street) In lieu of flowers, donations in Steven’s memory can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
