Margaret passed away on June 11, 2017 at Royal University Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She was 92 years old. Margaret was born at home in Sydney, Nova Scotia to James and Agnes Ryan, the youngest of ten children. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Reginald in 2010, her son-in-law Neil Makepeace, as well as her parents and her nine siblings. She is survived by her six children: Judy Makepeace, Doug (Diana), Jean (Larry) Vandale, Connie (Larry Beaton), Ken (Judy, and Janice (Lennard) Reinhart. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and eight great, great grandchildren. Margaret’s Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Windsor Chapel in Saskatoon. Her cremains will be placed next to her husband Reginald in the Columbarium at St. John’s Cathedral on Spadina Crescent.
