Walter "Wally" Muller

September 7, 1947 – November 12, 2016

Released from a 9 year struggle with COPD, Wally passed away peacefully on November 12, 2016 at St. Paul’s Hospital surrounded by his family. Wally is survived by his wife Elaine (Rosner); son Stacy; daughter Nicole (Robin); sister Marilyn (Ken) Hepp; brother Terry (Janice) Muller; brothers-in-law Edwin (Susan) Rosner and Daniel (Sylvia) Rosner; and sister-in-law Emily Engel. Wally was predeceased by his parents Hjalmar and Maria Muller (Dekker); parents-in-law David and Linda Rosner (Lissel); and brother-in-law Lawrence Engel. Wally and Elaine met in Leroy High School and were married 48 years. He worked in construction to support his family that he loved. Wally’s favourite pastimes were coffee with friends, listening to and telling stories and laughing with people. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, R.T.s and caregivers at RUH and St. Paul’s Hospital and especially at Parkridge Centre. A Celebration of Wally’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Mayfair United Church (902 33rd St. W, Saskatoon) with Pastor Ron Bestvater officiating. There will be an open mic to share your memories. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association Saskatchewan (1231 8th St. E, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5) or to a charity of your choice.
