Wayne William Knock was born to Robert and Mabel Knock and was raised on the family farm near Hanley. He lived on the farm all his life with his wife Carol until they moved to Luther Riverside Terrace, Saskatoon, in 2020. He was a farmer at heart, had a quiet love for Jesus, and lived a life that reflected his values of working to provide for family, responsibility to get things done and enjoying the results with travel, games, polka/2-step dancing, snowmobiling, camping, fishing, waterskiing and in all seasons having good times with friends and family. Left to mourn are: his loving wife of 57 years, Carol (Holmgren) Knock of Saskatoon; daughter Lori (Peter) Bews of Longview, AB, granddaughters Madison Bews and Katie Bews; daughter Diane (Wes) Unger of Saskatoon, grandsons Daniel Unger and Steven Unger; daughter-in-law Abigail (Abby) Swejda)) Knock – (wife of Dale Knock); granddaughters Kelsey Knock and Ashley Knock (father - Dale Knock); siblings - sister June (Werner) Stanieski of Victoria, BC; sister-in-law Marian (Jim) Knock of Victoria, BC; in-laws: sister-in-law Catherine (Gordon) Rott of Outlook, SK; sister-in-law Wendy (Rod) Holmgren of Saskatoon, SK and Wayne & Carol’s extended families, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. Wayne was predeceased by his parents Robert and Mabel Knock, son Dale Knock, brother Jim Knock, parents-in-law Clarence and Ethel Holmgren, and brother-in-law Rod Holmgren. The family of Wayne William Knock would like to announce the forth coming Memorial Service in his honor at 2:00 pm on Friday May 24, 2024 at Pleasant Hill Mennonite Church (111 Whitney Avenue, Saskatoon), with pastors Keith Pankratz and Daniel Unger officiating. There will be refreshments to follow in the Pleasant Hill Church lower auditorium. Arrangements are entrusted to Derryl Hildebrandt.
