BYCE, Allan Rae – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Al on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the age of 77. Loving husband of Sharron for 22 years. Cherished father of Allan Byce (Peggy), Robert Byce, Timothy Byce, Dawne Ardito (Rick) all of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Kris Byce (Lee) of Grande Prairie, Alberta and Lori Ruscitto (Mike Fahrenkopf) of Nassau, New York. Stepfather of Norman Moreland (Cathy) of Leduc, Alberta, Bill Moreland (Nina) of Windsor, Ontario and Larry Moreland (Donna) of Madoc, Ontario. Proud grandpa of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Oldest son of the late Robert Allan and Beatrice Byce of Chapleau, Ontario. Dear brother of Avril (Robert), Alvin (Ollie), Adrienne (Adalard), Charlie, Francis, George (Lil), Harry, Louise (Michael) and the late Robert. Special son-in-law of Mona Doan (late Elmer). Brother-in-law of Valerie Trainor, Robert Doan (Gale), and Brenda Doan. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. At Al’s request there will be no visitation or service, following cremation there will be a private graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
