There are some things only a Grandmother will know.
Like how to bake cookies or teach you to sew.
Cucumber sandwiches, to me were brand new.
And the joys of a pomegranate, you taught me those too.
Learning to knit, was never my thing...
But you showed me how to weave that colored string.
I never knew Hee-Haw was a country folks show.
It was fun just to listen to Roy Clark's banjo.
The trips to McD's have now long past...
Still I always enjoyed our food that was fast.
Your lap was my place when there was no other.
I miss those lullabies of my dear grandmother.
The many curlers you wore are now laid to rest.
I've heard them say: God only takes the best.
Grandma, my dear: I say that it's true;
For under his wing is a spot just for you.
Till we meet again Grandma, may you find peace;
for our love for you shall never cease.
~Donna Flood
Our family would like to pay a special tribute to our brother
RONALD MICHEAL HOULE
Born June 11, 1951
Died December 2, 2011
Ronny was the second oldest of six children. He loved to be around music in all ways possible.
He was a person that you could easily talk to about many topics.
We will miss him dearly. Although he was taken from us so quickly and surprisingly he will always be in our hearts .
